Frequently Asked Questions

Where are your products made?

All of our products are made in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. Our manufacturing shop is located in Abbotsford, BC.

What are your finishes made of?

All of our finishes are natural with a total of 0% VOCs and locally made in Canada. We use an oil that protects wood from water, heat, and daily wear.

Do you offer anything else besides flat cut woods (like rift, quarter sawn, etc.)?

No, we do not offer specialty wood selection.

What happens to the finish over time? Will it fade?

There is some inherent natural UV protection in the finish, but the wood itself will lighten or darken with age and exposure to sunlight. If you have decorative items on your furniture, we recommend you move them regularly.

Can I have different wood finishes in my space?

Absolutely. Some woods and finishes complement each other better than others, but natural materials play well together.

When setting up your space, you may have chosen one leading colour. If so, then the wood type and finish for your table should complement that for a monochromatic look. However, if you’re looking for contrast, then your furniture can stand out. For example, choose a dark coffee table for a light space to bring attention to other small details in darker hues within your space.

Can I customize standard products?

Yes. Certain manufacturing parameters need to be considered, but most of our dimensions can be customized.

Can I provide the material for making a product?

No, our manufacturing process is specifically set up to work with a careful selection of materials.

Where do you ship?

We ship across North America.

Few of our items can be shipped directly to residential addresses. Most products are shipped by freight to local moving and storage company that will be responsible for receiving the crate, shipping, delivering, unpacking, and assembling.

Shipping pricing has been fluctuating wildly due to the supply chain challenges we continue to experience. We are shipping solid wood furniture which is very heavy and must have special care while in transit which results in high costs of shipping.

How do local deliveries to the lower mainland work?

We take care of delivery, set up, and disposal of packaging. Most pieces are delivered disassembled, so we can move them into your space more easily, then assembled on site.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Please visit our warranty page.

How can I maintain my product? What do I use to clean it?

One of the beautiful things about solid wood is how low maintenance and life-resistant it is. Visit our care page for instructions for your piece.
