Commercial Case Studies
We understand spaces. We design, engineer, and manufacture commercial grade solid wood furniture. We understand the efficiencies and constraints of interior design as well as manufacturing. We have worked with a wide variety of designers, architects and organizations looking to create amazing work spaces. We have been involved in projects for Telus, SalesForce, Century Group, WeWork, Nectar Juicery, and many others. We look forward to collaborating with you on your next project.
Interior Designer: Studio Illa
Client: Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship
Wood Species Used: Ash, Douglas Fir
The designers goal was to create a clean and modern look while evoking warmth and authenticity through the integration of solid wood. We used solid white ash for the furniture pieces to complement the clean neutral tones of the seating chosen for the space and kept the joinery and construction as crisp and minimalist as possible to maintain a modern look and feel. The large “Quiet shelters” we constructed out of reclaimed Douglas fir because of its availability and as a nod to west coast architecture. Ultimately the result is a space that looks distinctly modern and is an inviting place for people to commune.
Interior Designer: House of Bohn
Client: Century Group
Wood Species Used: Red Oak
We were initially approached by House of Bohn about our Essential tables for the kitchen space in Century Group’s new head office in New Westminster. As we became more involved in the project, we found that we were able to design and build perfectly tailored furnishings for many different areas of the office from the large boardroom tables to hoteling stations and casual work tables. Filling out the office spaces with solid red oak pieces was the perfect compliment to the warm and detailed space.
Interior Designer: Ste. Marie Art & Design
Client: Savio Volpe
Wood Species Used: Red Oak, White Oak
The pedigree of previous work by the design studio Ste. Marie, required both a depth of experience with what can be done with wood, and a flexibility to take risks and make adjustments on the fly in order to fully realize the vision. This meant almost daily collaboration over every details to create the envisioned rustic Italian casual tavern. Key pieces included a massive shelving and display wrapping the kitchen area, non-traditional banquette seating, table tops and the millwork for the central charcuterie and espresso bar.
We collaborate with you: going over your mood board, viewing and discussing drawings together, ensuring alignment on overall aesthetic and vision for the space.
We help you select products from our existing furniture collection, order a custom size or inquire about a completely custom piece of furniture. Because we design, engineer and manufacture all of our products in house, we have better control of the end product. With the ability to scale production but also give care and attention to a unique piece, we have an understanding of the process from end to end.
We take care of the project management. Managing all the details of our furniture package, from concept drawings to final delivery. We stay in close conversation with you along the way to ensure there are no unexpected surprises.
We can deliver and install directly into your space. Many of our pieces flat pack as well as have minimal or no hardware, making them easily shipped and assembled.
We stand behind our work and have a limited warranty on all our products.
